Two friends were talking one day. One friend had created some products for women and was trying to market them. The other friend was trying to figure out how to make money in a down economy.

During their conversation, the two friends came up with the challenges needed for the woman to market her new products.

Problem
Working and trying to market a product was not easy.

Little money for marketing and product samples.

If the business took off to fast, things would get crazy.

If the business took off slow, discouragement would set in.


Need
To be able to advertise and give product samples at a low cost.

Getting a product out into the world of the abyss with little to no effort.

To be able to control the growth of the business and plan to quit a job.

So the friend decided to start a business that would help, not only her friend, but other business women in the same situation. It is not easy to start a business in a down economy with little funds available. She needed a way to get her friends product into other women's hands at no cost to her or a lot of time or energy spent doing it.

She loved the idea of women helping other women succeed. The question became, "What would motivate the other women to want to help?"  Then she thought, "If someone donates to a charity, they typically will receive a gift to thank them." Then she thought, "Women like gifts, but they love surprises even more! Imagine if a woman got a gift every month."  Then she started to think about how her former spouse quit buying her flowers and gifts after a few years and she started buying her own self gifts. When she went to the grocery store, she would pick up flowers for herself. Once a weeks he would purchase some kind of inexpensive makeup for herself. Then she imagined how great it would have been to every month have a box with all kinds of new products in it! Lip sticks, lotions, books, T-Shirts, Jewelry, Candles, you name it! She got really excited and decided she needed to find women who wanted to help other woman, and receive a gift once a month for doing so.

She named this adventure Surprise Box! Woooo Hooo! Then she realized it was for women so she needed to make sure it was clear this was for women, she added for women at the end. 

Surprise Box for Women was invented!
